Sue Lockhart Weigel peacefully passed away on April 6, 2022 at the Adams County Manor in West Union, Ohio
She was born July 1, 1935 in Manchester, Ohio to the late Albert G Lockhart, Jr. and Mary Swearingen Lockhart. She graduated from Manchester High School in 1953 and attended Christian College in Columbia, Missouri. She met the love of her life Howard Donaldson Weigel while in Missouri. They were married for 67 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Don just six weeks ago, her son Howard Weigel, brother Richard M Lockhart Sr., and nephew A.G. Lockhart III.
She is survived by daughters Sally (Steve) Brandl of Chicago, Illinois and Lori (Mike) Whitson of Davidson, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Tim, Jillian and Madeline Brandl and Taylor and Mallory Whitson; nephew Richard M. (Tammy) Lockhart of Butler, Kentucky; nieces Susan (Jim) Sandlin of Lewisburg, Kentucky and Cathy (Jimmy) Thomas and Jenny Lockhart, both of Bentonville, Ohio.
She also leaves many great, great-great nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Wilson Funeral Home in Manchester.
