Jim Gillespie, 56 years, of Peebles, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at his residence.
Jim was born in Adams County, Ohio, on Oct. 7, 1962, the son of the late Ralph and Lorene (Horner) Gillespie. Jim worked as a sales associate for Walmart.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Samantha (Kalan) Shelton of West Union. Jim’s passing will be mourned by his two sisters, Diane (Tom) Palmer of Peebles and Donna Kremin of Rarden; and three brothers, Sonny Ewick, Ed (Jeanette) Gillespie, and Donald Gillespie, all of Peebles; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles. The ceremony will be officiated by Rev. Marlyn Davis. Visitation will be held from 5- 7 p.m., prior to the funeral services, at the funeral home.
