People’s Defender

For many years, Coach Doug McFarland and his Peebles Lady Indians softball squad were permanent fixtures in the district and regional tournaments, including a trip to the state’s Final Four. In 2023, the Lady Indians took a step back, falling to 6-18 overall and not making it out of the sectional tourney.

After losing two very hard to replace seniors in Darby Mills and Lily McFarland, the 2024 version of Peebles softball will field another young squad, but with the goals of getting back to the heights they had achieved in previous years.
