Dorothy M. Mutters, 94 years of age, of Seaman, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at the Monarch Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Seaman, Ohio.
Dorothy was born on June 25, 1928, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of the late Forrest and Lillian (Lewis) Webster. She took great pride in caring for her family and home. Dorothy attended the Free Will Church.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Mutters, who passed away on September 7, 1994; two sons, Mike Mutters and Raymond Mutters; and a daughter, Barb Abner. Dorothy was also preceded in death by two brothers, Larry (Wanda) Roberts and Eddie Roberts, and her sister, Velma Soult.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Mutters of Blue Creek, Rose (Bill) Harrison and Terresa Mutters, both of Peebles; her sons, Jim Mutters of Seaman and Lonnie (Ann) Mutters of Cincinnati; and her brother, John Roberts of Seaman. Dorothy will be missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves many dear friends and extended family.
Dorothy’s family is planning a memorial service to celebrate Dorothy’s life. The gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 21, from 10 – 11 a.m., at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman, Ohio.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
