This morning Adams Lake received 1,850 trout from the Kinkaid Fish Hatchery in Pike County. About 30 anglers and onlookers were on hand to watch the annual spring rite.
Adams Lake was first in line to start the spring trout stocking season by the Ohio Division of Wildlife. In all over 70 lakes throughout Ohio are scheduled for a stocking of trout which will continue until late April when the last of the trout are finally released into Ohio lakes.
