Mike Young, 68 years of Winchester, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman, Ohio.
Mike was born in Newtown, Ohio, on May 13, 1950, the son of the late Herman and Flonia (Davidson) Young. Mike worked as an equipment operator.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Deborah (Cole) Young, whom he married on March 12, 1993. He leaves behind three sons, Junior (Carol) Young of Peebles, Jon (Cathy) Young of Winchester, and Larry (Amy) Young, Jr., of Cincinnati; three daughters, Kim (Daryl) Bernard of Mowrystown, Diana (Michael) Delk of Winchester, and Rebecca (Brian) Vanhoose, also of Winchester. Mike’s passing will be mourned by his two brothers, Ed Young of Peebles and Lee Young of Bethel; as well as his 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, at the Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman, Ohio. The ceremony will be officiated by Dave Hopkins. Burial will follow at the Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Family and friends may pay their respects from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. on Thursday, prior to the funeral services, at the Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman, Ohio.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
