Loretta “Suzie” Belknapp, age 62 years of West Union, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Suzie was born June 9, 1958 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late James and Ina (Houghton) Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Lonnie Harris and Ronnie Harris and sister Peggey Lee Davis.
Suzie was the owner and operator of Curly Sue’s Beauty Shop in West Virginia, Mirror Image in Ohio, and the BK Scoop.
Survivors include her husband Garry Belknapp of West Union; daughter Amanda Mae Belknapp-Blanton of West Union; two sisters, Donna Jo Sykes of North Carolina and Linda Mae Richardson of West Virginia; and grandchildren Braxton Blanton and Korynne Blanton.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union with Jason Hayslip officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. the day of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Adams County Animal Shelter.
