It was a memorable evening on Sept. 7 as the elementary football teams from Manchester and North Adams hooked up at Greyhound Stadium in their own version of “Monday Night Football.” The 3rd/4th graders (JV) played first and it was a thriller, with Manchester pulling out a 22-20 win in double overtime. In the 5th/6th grade contest, it was Manchester topping the Green Devils 18-14.
