The 10th Anniversary Adams County Medical Foundation Gala was held on Oct. 4 at The Willow in Winchester, Ohio and proved to be the largest Gala on record with over $93,000 being raised.
The evening was a full night of recognitions both to the 10-year sponsors and with memorial tributes to Dr. Dale Mathias, Dr. Larry W. Best, Dr. Francis Stevens and Dr. Bruce Ashley.
These tributes were made in the form of Scholarships and Auction Packages. The Adams County Medical Foundation presented a check in the amount of $129,000 to the Adams County Regional MedicalCenter for land that was purchased in West Union and given to the hospital for a new Medical Arts Building.
The biggest attraction of the evening was the She Shed, donated 100% by Lonestar Sheds, LLC, located in Winchester, Ohio. The C103 Car for the Cure was also on-site and auctioned at the end of the night with all proceeds staying local for women to have mammograms that don’t have insurance to cover the cost.
