Students in the Adams County Ohio Valley third through eighth grade Talented and Gifted program recently visited Washington, DC on a parent funded field trip.  The students first studied and explored America’s leaders and history during the school year in order to prepare for their adventure to the nation’s capital.  Ninety-eight students, parents, and teachers traveled to the nation’s capital to experience American history and government first hand. On May 8-10, the group toured Arlington Cemetery, the White House, the Smithsonian Museums, the Memorials, and the Capital Building. Above, The group is pictured in front of the White House.
