The Adams County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the return of its annual “Best of the Best” celebration, recognizing the outstanding businesses, organizations, and professionals that make Adams County a great place to live, work, and visit.
Following the incredible success of last year’s inaugural event, “Best of the Best” returns in 2026 bigger than ever. The Chamber has expanded the event to accommodate even more community members after last year’s celebration sold out within minutes.
Community nominations will begin on Wednesday, August 5 on the Adams County Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page.
This year’s Best of the Best categories include:
• Best Dessert
• Best Coffee/Specialty Drink
• Best Realtor
• Best DJ
• Best Photographer
• Best Dentist
• Best Appetizers
• Best Car Detailer/Car Wash
• Best Custom Apparel
• Best Local Attraction
Businesses do not need to register to participate. Any eligible Adams County business or organization may be nominated by members of the public during the nomination period on the Adams County Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page.
Beginning August 5, a new category will be featured each day, giving the community the opportunity to recognize their favorite local businesses and organizations. Residents are encouraged to submit their nominations before each category closes. The business or organization receiving the most nominations in each category will advance to the live “Best of the Best” Awards Celebration on Thursday, September 17 at the Willow Event Center in Winchester.
The celebration will take place from 6 – 8:30 p.m. and will bring together businesses, community leaders, and residents for an evening recognizing excellence across Adams County. Due to overwhelming demand, this year’s event has moved to the Willow Event Center and expanded ticketing from 200 to 400 guests, allowing twice as many people to attend the celebration.
“Last year’s response was beyond anything we imagined,” said Jason Francis, Chair of the Adams County Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees. “The community embraced this event as a way to celebrate the people and businesses that make Adams County special. We’re excited to bring it back even bigger this year and continue recognizing those who invest in our community every day.”
Tickets for the Best of the Best Awards Celebration will go on sale to the public on August 24. Because last year’s event sold out within minutes, attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets early.
Residents are encouraged to follow the Adams County Chamber of Commerce on Facebook throughout the nomination period for daily categories, contest rules, finalist announcements, ticket information, and event updates.
