On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 10a.m., Michael Huffman, age 24, was sentenced in case number CRI 20250149 following a voluntary plea of guilty to the charges of Domestic Violence, a misdemeanor of the second degree, in violation of ORC 2919.25C, and Assault on a Peace Officer, a felony of the fourth degree, in violation of ORC 2903.13A. Michael Huffman was sentenced to fifteen (15) months in the Ohio Department of Rehabilitations and Corrections.
On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 12 p.m., Tien Hawkins, age 26, was sentenced in case number CRI 20250091 following a voluntary plea of guilty to the charges of Child Endangering, a felony of the third degree, in violation of ORC 2919.22A, and two counts of Permitting Child Abuse, felonies of the third degree, in violation of ORC 2903.15A. Tien Hawkins was sentenced to a stipulated prison term of five (5) years in the Ohio Department of Rehabilitations and Corrections.
On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 2:30 p.m., Tessa Steakley, age 28, was sentenced in case number CRI 20250133 following a voluntary plea of guilty to one count of Theft, a felony of the fifth degree, in violation of ORC 2913.02A1. Tessa Steakley was sentenced to three (3) years of Community Control with eleven (11) months suspended in the Ohio Department of Rehabilitations and Corrections. Steakley is ordered to serve 120 consecutive days in the Adams County Jail, after which, Steakley is to complete 120 hours of community service, pay a fine of $1,600, repay restitution to the victim in the amount $99.98, attend two AA/NA meetings per week, and obtain and maintain employment of no less than 32 hours per week.
On Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 3 p.m., John Sparks, age 38, was sentenced in case CRI 20250120 following a voluntary plea of guilty to three counts of Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor, felonies of the third degree, in violation of ORC 2907.04A and 2907.04B3. John Sparks was sentenced to a stipulated prison term of sixty (60) months in the Ohio Department of Rehabilitations and Corrections. Additionally, Sparks is ordered to pay a fine of $2,500 and shall register as a Tier II Sex Offender Registrant upon his release from prison for a duration of 25 years.
On Friday, June 26, 2026, at 10 a.m., Natalie Cox, age 46, was sentenced in case number CRI 20250129 following a voluntary plea of guilty to Theft, a felony of the fifth degree, in violation of ORC 2913.02A1. Natalie Cox was sentenced to two (2) years of Community Control with one (1) year suspended in the Ohio Department of Rehabilitations and Corrections. Cox is ordered to complete 120 hours of community service, attend one AA/NA meeting per week, and repay restitution to the victim in the amount of $1,820. Additionally, Cox will serve 30 days in the Adams County Jail plus and an additional weekend from July 3 – 5, 2026.
On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 12:30 p.m., Randall Westfall, age 58, was sentenced in case number CRI 20220070 following a revocation of his community control, Westfall having previously been convicted of Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence, a felony of the fourth degree, in violation of ORC 4511.19A1F. Randall Westfall was sentenced to three (3) years in the Ohio Department of Rehabilitations and Corrections. Further it is ordered that Westfall shall have a three-year operator’s license suspension and pay the minimum mandatory fine of $1,350.
