The string of summer basketball camps continued last week as Coach Austin McCormick and his staff hosted the 2026 Green Devils Boys Basketball Camp, a camp that included two daily sessions for four day. Campers in grades 2-4 had the early shift, going from 8-10 a.m. each morning while grades 5-6 were on the court from 10:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. The future Green Devils spend the four days learning the fundamentals of the game and taking part in fun and spirited competitions.
The campers in the early morning session (grades 2-4) included: Kasen Moore, Dalton Brown, Cooper Cox, Corbin Crump, Levi Pinto, Kyzer Redmon, Connor Baxla, Wyatt Powell, Pierce Burns, Garret Tepe, Kainan Moore, Kellan Kattine, Cole Edingfield, Rhett Durr, Phoenix Bolender, Callen Hodge, Willy Nehus and Oakley Smith.
Award winners for the early group were:

• Corbin Crump- Hot Shot
• Phoenix Bolender- King of the Court
• Garret Tepe- Dribble Knockout
• Kyzer Redmon- Shooting Knockout
• Wyatt Powell- Hard Work Camper
The campers in the second session (grades 5-6) included: Kline Cox, Dax Burns, Ashton Hamm, Drake Hamm, Beckham Copas, Zane Schwallie, Axel Payne, Hunter Powell, Brooks Wooten, Draeton Sizemore, Boston Edingfield, Cruz Ward, Rylan Souder, Jagger Osborne, Brantley Johnson and Luther Foster.

Showing their dedication to Coach McCormick and the program was a large contingent of high school players who took their time to help out at the camp. They included: Jackson Harper, Carson Davis, Jaxon Baldwin, Jordan Daniels, Maverick Winkler, Kyzer Swayne, Colt Ward, Bronson Dean, Boston D’Ambra, Dustin Lynch, Parker Simpson, Dawson Souder, Kruze Winkler, Jax Davis, CJ Boner, Knox Williams and Joseph Foreman.
