In the realm of high school sports, success breeds interest. Putting a winning team in action does wonders for a sports program, leading to more people in attendance at events and perhaps more importantly, leading younger athletes to become interested in the sport.
That is very evident in the girls basketball program at North Adams High School, where long-time Lady Devils head coach Rob Davis has built a successful, winning program that has trickled down to the younger ages. As evidence, Coach Davis and his staff hosted their annual Youth Basketball Camp from June 9-11 and a total of 52 campers showed up to have fun and of course, hone their growing basketball skills. None of the campers left on the final day without also learning lessons about the Lady Devils’ program emphasis on teamwork, family and community service.

Fourth Grade: Abigail Shawhan, Audrey Rosselot, Evei Dreger, Malia Shelton, Cora Edmisten
Fifth Grade: Addy Mullen, Grace Glenn, Julianna Dreger, Ambree Downing, Rinn Simmons, Maya Pinto, Hayven Jodrey, Adia Grooms, Mara Declaire, Tessa Simbro, Sadie Barlow, Adalee Durbin
Sixth Grade: Aleah Ormes, Avery Lahmers, Whitley Rosselot, Evelinn Durr TEnzlee

The high school members of the Lady Devils program also were on hand to assist, including: Emma Pistole, Ava Pistole, Elizabeth Raines, Jacee Davis, Jaida Harrison, Bella Gray, TEnzlee Burns, Sophia Barlow, Reese Schmitz, Addison Spiller, Erin Waters, McKinley Woods and Abigail Bolton.
The camp was led by Coach Davis and his assistants, Avery Harper, Keetyn Hupp and Katelynn Boerger.
