On Friday, September 19, Adams Lake State Park became the gathering place for a community remembrance dedicated to the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk. The event, held along the shoreline of the park’s quiet lake, drew together residents of Adams County, families, and supporters who came to reflect on a man remembered for his Christian faith, his devotion to patriotic values, and his determination to encourage younger adults to become more engaged in both politics and faith.
The evening opened in a calm, reverent spirit as attendees arrived carrying folding chairs and blankets, settling in for a time of fellowship and remembrance. The choice of location reflected Kirk’s love of the outdoors and the community, while also offering space for reflection in a natural setting.
