Betty J. (Tackett) Dulaney, age 89 of Springboro, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. Born in Pike County, Kentucky on May 18, 1936 she was a daughter to the late Amos and Glea (Belcher) Tackett. Betty loved to winter in St. Augustine, Florida near family and enjoyed travelling many places throughout her life. She was very passionate about celebrating with family and spending time with them; as they meant the world to her. Betty had fun socializing with her girlfriends and will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” H. Dulaney, Jr. in 2019: and brothers Harold and Ronald Tackett.
She is survived by her children, William H. and (Charlotte) Dulaney III and Kelley (Dulaney) Suttles: grandchildren, Wm. Haston (Nichol) Dulaney IV, Jessica (Stephen) Savage, Rachel (Marius) Monnig. Zakary, Daniel, and Lauren Suttles; seven great-grandchildren: as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Friends may call on the family from 6- 8 p.m. on Tuesday September 16, 2025, at the Anderson Funeral Home, 40 N. Main St, Springboro, Ohio. Burial will be in the Kirker Cemetery in West Union, Ohio with a graveside service officiated by Pastor John Waugh.
