Southern State is excited to invite new and current students to an Open House event designed to help with registration for the upcoming Fall Semester. The event will take place on Saturday, August 23 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive in Hillsboro. Fall Semester begins on Monday, August 25.

The Open House will serve as a one-stop shop, helping with the admissions and registration process, financial aid guidance, academic advising, campus tours, and more.

Participants are encouraged to bring photo identification, high school transcripts (if applicable), and any questions they may have about enrolling and/or signing up for classes.

Southern State offers associate degree programs in the areas of business, computer technology, engineering, education, human and social services, and health sciences, as well as one-year certificate programs in accounting, aviation: general, airframe and powerplant, practical nursing, and real estate.

Students can also enjoy bachelor’s degree completion opportunities through on-site partnership agreements, adult basic literacy courses, and workforce training programs.
