After winning three consecutive district championships, enthusiasm is high in the North Adams Green Devils boys basketball program. That enthusiasm was apparent as head coach Austin McCormick and his staff hosted the 2025 Green Devils Youth Basketball Camp.

The camp ran for four days, June 24-27, in the NAHS gymnasium and was divided into two sessions each day. The first session ran from 8 – 10 a.m. and included grades 2-4, while the second session ran from 10:30 – 12:30 and included fifth and sixth graders. As typical of summer camps, emphasis was put on basketball fundamentals with a number of competitive events mixed in.

The 13 campers participating in Session One included: Corbin Crump, Wyatt Powell, Kyzer Redmon, Pace Tomlin, Kanin Moore, Phoenix Bolender, Zane Schwallie, Hunter Powell, Ashton Hamm, Drake Hamm, Landry Hayslip, Brooks Wooten and Canaan Harper.

The competition award winners from the first session were:

• Hot Shot- Drake Hamm

• Dribble Knockout- Ashton Hamm

• Shooting Knockout- Brooks Wooten

• Free Throws- Drake Hamm

• King of the Court- Landry Hayslip

• Hardwork Camper- Hunter Powell

The 15 campers in the second session included: Xander Lawson, Isaac Spiller, Axel Payne, Brantley Johnson, Dax Burns, Rylan Souder, Cruz Ward, Jagger Osborne, River Gobin, Liam Wilmoth, Brantlee Bolton, Kayson Hoop, Corbin Young, Cameron Lorenz and Kaden Dotson.

• Shooting Knockout- Rylan Souder

• Free Throws- Dax Burns

• King of the Court- Brantlee Bolton

• Hardwork Camper- Kayson Hoop

Coach McCormick also had a wealth of assistance at camp from his high school athletes, who included: Colin Tolle, Kaleb Eldridge, Preston Call, Dalton Pence, Jesse Kennedy, Thaddeus Moore, Caleb Brown, Bryson Bolton, Jackson Harper, Cory Achor, Carson Davis, Zack Jones, Jaxon Baldwin, Maverick Winkler, Kyser Swayne, Brody Schweickart, Parker Simpson, Bronson Dean, Colt Ward, Boston D’Ambra and Dustin Lynch.
