The U.S. Small Business Administration has announced that certain farm-related and nonfarm-related entities in Ohio counties impacted by recent droughts are eligible for federal Economic Injury Disaster Loans, announced State Rep. Justin Pizzulli (R-Scioto County).
The U.S. Department of Agriculture recently declared a natural disaster in 22 Ohio counties and identified 16 additional adjacent counties, including Adams, Brown, and Scioto Counties, that may be impacted by drought conditions and directly result in economic losses.
Economic Injury Disaster Loans are available to the following entities:
- Small businesses;
- Small agricultural cooperatives;
- Small businesses engaged in aquaculture; and
- Most nonprofit organizations.
