Indians branching out with 2024 schedule

In recent seasons, the Southern Ohio Independent League has been owned by Coach Mike McDonald and his Peebles Indians football squad. So much so that the SOIL contests became very one-sided, prompting Coach McDonald to look for some new challenges when putting together his 2024 schedule. The Indians will still play SOIL opponents and likely dominate again, but the 2024 slate is dotted with a number of different names than in past seasons.
The Tribe opened their 2024 campaign with a 45-22 loss at Landmark Christian, before blasting a pair of SOIL opponents, 45-0 over Foxfire and 68-0 over Southern Buckeye. It’s results like those latter two that have resulted in the Indians scheduling contests this season with the Columbus Crusaders, Middletown Christian, and Dayton Christian, all on the road.
