West Union resident and Manchester graduate Ryan Applegate is the new editorial reporter for The People’s Defender.

With the recent departure of reporter Sherry Larson, The People’s Defender is proud to announce that Ryan Applegate of West Union has been named as the newest writer for the Defender.
Applegate, a native of Adams County, Ohio, was raised in the close-knit communities of Manchester and West Union. From a young age, he displayed a strong sense of commitment and drive, which defined his professional and personal pursuits. He graduated from Manchester High School in 2007. His time at Manchester High School laid the foundation for his future endeavors, instilling in him the values of perseverance and service.
