People’s Defender

Thursday, August 15 marked the first day of school for local students enrolled in the Adams County Ohio Valley School District (ACOVSD) and the Manchester Local School District (MLSD). This is an exciting and busy time for students and staff at the local schools around Adams County.

ACOVSD has switched from dual bus routing, which saw elementary and high school attendees bused to and from school at different times during the previous three years, to single bus routes that combined all students on a given route and allowed children and teens to go to and from school at the same time.
