After an incredible junior season on the softball diamond, Manchester junior Rylie Young has now gone where no Lady Hounds’ softball player has gone before. Young recently became the first player in MHS softball history to earn First Team All-Ohio honors, being voted that honor by the coaches association in Division IV and she still has a season left in her high school career. This past spring, she was a double threat, hitting .463 with six home runs, while going 14-4 in the center circle for the Lady Hounds, which led to her being the first Lady Hound to be named Southeast District Division IV Player of the Year.
