First-year varsity head coach Austin McCormick and his North Adams High School boys coaching staff will be hosting a Boys Basketball Youth Camp from June 25-28.
The camp will run in two sessions per day, Session 1 running from 8 – 10 a.m. and Session 2 from 10:30-12:30. Session 1 is for boys entering second through fourth grades in the upcoming school year while Session 2 is for boys entering grades 5 and 6. The camp will beheld at North Adams High School and the cost is $50 per camper ($10 for any camper from the same household).
Campers will be instructed by the coaches from the North Adams Boys Basketball program as well as the Green Devils high school basketball players. The camp will focus on the fundamentals of the game such as passing, ball handling, shooting, plus offensive and defensive principles as well as competitive games (1 on 1.King of the Court, Hot Shots, Free Throws, and Dribble Knockout).
Each camper will receive a t-shirt and make checks payable to the North Adams Athletic Boosters.
