David Ralph Conley, Jr. 72, of Manchester, Ohio, died June 12, 2024 at his home. He was born September 29, 1951 in Ashland, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by parents David Ralph Conley, Sr. and Minnie Myrtle (Rawlins) Conley; two brothers, Michael Conley and Darren Conley; and two sisters. Jenny Salisbury and Donna Jones.
David is survived by wife, Ida Mae (McDaniel) Conley; two daughters, Donna (Ray) Ricketts of West Union and Lisa (Denver) Young of Manchester; three grandsons, Izhik Conley, lan Ricketts and Tristan Young; two granddaughters, Isabelle Ricketts and Kaylee Young; two brothers, Jeff (Darlene Francis) Conley of Manchester and Steve (Donna) Conley of Stout; and two sisters, Genoa (Jack) Lewis of Blue Creek and Marge Church of West Union.
David loved carpentry work. He enjoyed hunting and working in his garden and spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, Mollie.
The visitation was held on Sunday, June 16, 2024 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union.
The funeral was Monday, June 17, at 1 p.m., also at the Lafferty Funeral Home. Pastor Chester Whaley officiated and the interment was at McKendree Cemetery in Niles Township in Scioto County, Ohio.
