Eudora Grace Stratton, 93 years of age, of Seaman, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the Adams County Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in West Union, Ohio.
Eudora was born on March 4, 1930, in Adams County, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Dora Mae (Thompson) Cole. Eudora took great pride in caring for her family and home. She belonged to the Seaman American Legion Auxiliary and the Adams County Senior Citizens. She attended the Winchester Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Eudora was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Stratton, who passed away in 1991; her son, Dennis Stratton and her daughter, Judy Stratton. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Cole, Dale Cole, James Cole, Robert Cole, and Richard Cole; as well as her sisters, Ruby Mowery, Anna Shell, Margery Griner and Ruth Clancy.
Eudora is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Ann Stratton of Seaman and Bob and Sheila Stratton of Cherry Fork; and her daughter-in-law, Ronda Stratton of Russellville. She will be missed by her six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and her two great, great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may pay their respects during visitation on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman.
Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation on Thursday, February 1, 2024, beginning at 1 p.m. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman. Steve Bankhead will officiate the service. The burial will follow at the Sugar Tree Ridge Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
