The Adams County Board of Developmental Disabilities is teaming up with People First of Adams County and Ohio Tech Ambassador Network to host the first ever Adams County Technology First Day. This event is for families and individuals with disabilities who are interested in learning more about supportive and assistive technology.

Technology First Day will be held on June 8 in the Adams County Job and Family Services parking lot from noon – 3 p.m. There will be a Mobile Smart Home to tour, a SafeinHome Representative to demonstrate technology devices, two Ohio Tech Ambassadors, Tanner Huff and Chris Cooley, both presenting their technology stories at 1 p.m. and the County Board Service and Support Administration team on hand to assist with questions and answers regarding how a Medicaid Waiver can pay for assistive technology.

People First Advocacy Group will be serving refreshments during the event and be on hand to talk about advocacy and how you can join the group.

Adams County Job and Family Services is located at 482 Rice Drive in West Union. Please park in the front parking lot.
