William “Bill” Covert, Jr., age 60 years, passed away on Friday, Dec. 4, 2020 at his residence. Bill was born in Adams County, Ohio on Oct. 11, 1960, the son of the late William and Louise (Bowman) Covert, Sr. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Irma Jean Covert.
Survivors include his loving wife Wendie Covert of Manchester, Ohio; stepmother Juanita Gustin of Peebles, Ohio; son Josh Shiveley of Manchester, Ohio; three grandchildren, Dallas, Sara, and Ian Shiveley; two sisters, Joyce Whitley and Ronnie of Florida and Jamie Lewis of Manchester, Ohio; and niece Jalynn Hackathorn of Manchester, Ohio.
Public graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020 at noon at the West Union Cemetery, under the direction of the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home, with John Conley officiating.
