The County Risk Sharing Authority (CORSA) announces that Adams County Commissioner Diane Ward has been selected to serve on the CORSA board of directors. She was elected to fill the expired term of Commissioner Jack Evans.
CORSA’s proactive approach for risk management through CORSA University, the HR helpline, best practice policies and other member benefits not only assists its members with risk reduction but also places members in a positive financial position by offering these benefits at no additional cost,” Ward said. “I look forward to working with the County Loss Control Coordinators, local agents, and human resource professionals as a member of the CORSA Board of Directors.”
Commissioners from CORSA member counties are eligible to serve on the board and are elected by the Board and the membership at the Annual Meeting held in September. Board members may serve four consecutive, two-year terms.
“I welcome Commissioner Ward to the board, and I am excited she will share her expertise with CORSA as we look to the future to continue to offer superior services that will help counties save funds,” said CORSA Managing Director John Brownlee.
CORSA, established in 1987 by the County Commissioners Association of Ohio as a service program, is a self-insured property and liability pool for county government. Currently, 66 of the 88 counties are members.
