Nellie P. Brinley, 83 years, of Peebles, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at the Monarch Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Seaman.
Nellie was born on Feb. 21, 1937, in Louisville, Ky., the daughter of the late Marvin and Margaret (Ferguson) Robinson. Nellie worked in food service at Kroger.
In addition to her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Earl Lunsford; a granddaughter, Candice Talinforo; and her two sisters, Mary Barogsowski and Doris Reesor.
She is survived by her two daughters, Denise (Hank) Hibbard of Kentucky and Robin (Kathy Knauff) Lunsford of Peebles. She will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and four great, great-grandchildren.
To honor Nellie’s memory, the family is planning a memorial service for a later date. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staffs at Monarch Meadows and the Hospice of Hope for their loving care of Nellie.
