Richard L. Lewis died on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the Eagle Creek Nursing Center. He was born on Dec. 5, 1946 in Manchester, Ohio to Oakley B Lewis and Frances (Hodge) Lewis Walters Roush.
Richard was an Air Force Veteran and a member of the Southern Baptist Church. Richard formerly worked at the tobacco warehouses in Ripley, as a truck driver and at a service station in which he managed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Dwight, and Randy; and his step mother, Juanita Lewis.
Richard is survived by his brothers Jack, Eugene, John, Denver, Marion, and Stanley; his sisters Rose, Mary, Cindy, Kelli, Brenda, and Susie; his nieces and nephews Nancy, Jackie, Courtney, Heather, Amanda, Samantha, Randy Jr, Chris, and Kevin.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 31 at the Wilson Home For Funerals in Manchester. Richard will be cremated and a committal service will be held at the convenience of the family.
