Edna “Dee” Satterfield, age 83 years of West Union, Ohio, passed away Monday, Feb. 25, 2019 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe, Maysville, Ky. Dee was born on Dec. 25, 1935, the daughter of the late Claude and Opal (Shivener) McDine in Ripley, Ohio. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheliah Glaze.
Survivors include her sons, Matthew Patterson and Annette of West Union, Ohio and Rick Satterfield and Alisha of Piketon, Ohio; daughter, Dawn Satterfield-Weaver and Chris of Raleigh, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019 at the 11 a.m.at the Manchester Church of the Nazarene with Tony Watson officiating, under the direction of the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home of West Union. Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home.
