Leo C. Rossman, age 88 years of Manchester, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 at the Christ Hospital. Leo was born on July 24, 1930, the son of the late Pete and Bertha (Crisp) Rossman in Ripley, Ohio.
Leo was a member of the Bentonville Community Church, a letter carrier in New Carlisle, Ohio, and an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Thelma Rossman of Manchester, Ohio; two daughters, Vicki Lee Woolum of New Carlisle, Ohio and Jill Lynn Rudy of Troy, Ohio; two sons, Jerry Ray Rossman of New Port, Florida and Terry Jay Rossman of Springfield, Ohio; sister Dorothy Stritenberger of Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019 at noon at the Goddard Methodist Church in Wallingford Ky. under the direction of the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union with John Greenlee officiating.
Burial will follow at the Goddard Cemetery with military graveside rites by the W.N. Sant American Legion Post #5 Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019 from 5- 7 p.m. at the Bentonville Community Church.
