DP&L workforce, sub-contractors and spouses impacted by the shut down of Killen and Stuart Stations are invited to attend an information event on Trade Adjustment Assistance Act, Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act, Local Training Fund, and other re-employment services. Event will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018 from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. at the Red Barn Pavilion, 2223 Russellville Rd., Winchester, OH 45697. See program agenda below.

The State of Ohio will have Trade Delivery Professionals and supervisors on site to provide information and answer questions regarding the multiple benefits of the TRADE Act for eligible workers. OhioMeansJobs of Adams Brown Counties will also be available to discussed Dislocated Worker Training for both the employee and possibly the spouse; they will also be discussing the local training funds available to DP&L Employees. The Kentucky Career Center/TENCO Workforce Area from Maysville, KY will be on hand as well to discuss services available to Kentucky Residents. Additional informational tables will be set up for House Bill 2 requirements for unemployment insurance and assistance with re-employment; including the OhioMeansJobs.com website.
