Virginia S. Lowe, 96 years, of Peebles, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at her residence.
Virginia was born on January 22, 1922, in Oppy, Kentucky, the daughter of Simon Stacy and Armilda May Hensley Stacy. She attended Burns Chapel Church.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Hayse Lowe, Sr., who passed away on July 4, 2000. She was also preceded by her daughter ,Nancy Leeth; and three sons, David Lowe, Paul Lowe, and Hayse Lowe, Jr. Virginia is survived by three daughters, Carolyn (John) Wallace, of Peebles; Lisa Smith, of Winchester; and Melody Jones, of Sabina. Virginia also leaves behind six sons, Irvine (Mary) Lowe, of Florida; Joseph Lowe, of West Union; Robert Lowe, of Peebles, Keith (Debbie) Lowe, of Peebles, Danny Lowe, of Georgia; and Denver Lowe, also of Georgia. She will be sadly missed by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great, great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, in Peebles. The ceremony will be officiated by Don Lewis. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
