Stanley Earl Artley, 58 years, of Peebles, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Stanley was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on August 8, 1959, the son of Stanley and Jackie (O’Brien) Artley. In addition to his parents, Stanley is survived by his wife, Sharon Atkins Artley, whom he married on June 18, 2005. Stanley also leaves behind three sons, Shawn (Renee) Artley, of Hamilton, Ohio; Shane (Brittany) Artley of Portsmouth, and Chris Fuson, of Peebles, as well as a daughter, Brandy (David) Evans, of Peebles. Stanley will be missed by his brother, Scott Artley, of Marysville, Pennsylvania, and by his two sisters; Linda Bigelow, of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; and Dianna Metzler, of Haddonfield, New Jersey, as well as his seven grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday evening, July 23, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 7:00 PM, Monday evening, at the funeral home. Military rites will be provided by the Adams County Honor Guard. Services will be officiated by Dave Hopkins.
