Mildred Franklin, 82 years, of Blanchester, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at the Miami Valley Hospital, in Dayton.
Mildred was born on June 17, 1936, in Greenup, Kentucky, the daughter of Fred and Hazel (McCleese) Brown.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Franklin, who passed away on September 22, 2013. Mildred is survived by two sons, Carl Franklin, of Hillsboro; and Tim (Lisa) Franklin, of Jackson, Ohio; and a daughter, Debbie (Denny) Odom, of Blanchester. Mildred is also survived by a brother, Bernard (Bonnie) Brown, of Peebles; and a sister, Wanda (Richard) Shelton, of Seaman; as well as nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; along with many other dear family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, on Friday, July 13, 2018, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, in Peebles. The ceremony will be officiated by Dave Hopkins. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
