Anthony “Popeye” Ward

By Mark Carpenter –

A suspect wanted for questioning in several break-ins in Brown and Adams County was apprehended on Thursday night in Clermont County, after authorities used his “distinct” appearance on social media to alert the public.
Anthony “Popeye” Ward was apprehended, according to news sources, in the automotive department of a Clermont County Walmart after his unique mug shot with his very distinct facial tattoo, resembling the look of the character Hannibal Lechter in the film “Silence of the Lambs”, was plastered all over social media sites in an attempt to track down Ward. It was reported that Ward could possibly be traveling in a black Chevy Cruze with a woman identified as Dottie Worthington.
Ward had felony warrants in Brown County and this was not his first brush with the law, having previously been arrested for domestic violence, burglary, and child enticement, according to Fox19 News. He is currently being housed in the Clermont County Jail.
