Arlen T Gray, 92 years, currently of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Peebles, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018, at his residence.

Arlen was born in Ira, West Virginia, on January 20, 1926, the son of the late Homer and Gusta (Taylor) Gray. After being ordained as a minister in August, 1952, Arlen worked as a pastor for the Pilgrim Holiness Churches for over sixty years. He was a member of the Peebles Holiness Mission.

In addition to his parents, Arlen was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilburt, Stanley, and Delbert, and seven sisters, Blanche, Della, Chris, Maysel, Avie, Mable, and Pebble.

Arlen is survived by his wife of 68 years, Barbara (Christ) Gray, whom he married on July 8, 1949. He also leaves behind his foster son, Daniel (Donna) Kauffung, of South Covington, Kentucky; his former daughter-in-law, Rhonda Kauffung, of Erlanger, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Carolyn Shipe, Mark (Jennifer) Kauffung, and Jennifer Lynn Kauffung. Arlen will be missed by his three great-grandchildren, Jacob Arlen, Makayla, and Avie, as well as his nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 7, 2018, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, in Peebles, Ohio. Charlene Toller and Wayne Johnson will serve as officiants. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, prior to the funeral services, Thursday, June 7, 2018, at the funeral home in Peebles.
