The month of March announced its arrival in a big way as overnight and early morning storms
rolled through the area, with damage being reported in Adams, Brown, and Highland counties.
Heavy rains caused flooding issues that caused the Manchester Local School District to begin on a two-hour delay,
and then close school for the day because of bus safety on flooded roads.
High winds were the biggest culprit of these storms, with reports of damage in various area of Adams County, as social media
posts highlighted photos of the path left by the winds. The village of Higginsport in Brown County suffered wind damage, with roofs being strewn around the
streets and downed trees, with more damage being reported in the Sardinia area of the county. Reports also
surfaced of a possible tornado touch down near Leesburg in Highland County.
