Back again for another year as a staple at the Adams County Fair will be the annual “People’s Defender Cornhole Tournament.” This year’s tournament, which is always a hit for young people from ages 7-15, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 15. This year’s action will again be held in the Shade Tree Park section of the fair grounds.
As it has been done in the past, the tournaments will be divided into two age classes, 7-11 and 12-15, and will be played in a double elimination format. First, second, and third prizes will be awarded in both age classes. The cost to enter the competition is $5 per player.
To enter this year’s tournament, registration will be available 30 minutes prior to the tournament in Shade Tree Park. The tourney for the 7-11 age group will be played first, with 12-15 immediately following.
