Alfred Somerhalder, age 97 years of West Union, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the Eagle Creek Nursing Home. Mr. Somerhalder was born March 17, 1919 the son of the late Rudolph and Marie (Treitz) Somerhalder in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Visitation will be held on Monday June 6, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with the Adams County Honor Guard at 7 p.m., a Masonic funeral service will follow. Mr. Somerhalder will be cremated following the services.
