Margie McFarland, age 68 years, of West Union, died Saturday, April 16.2016 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital. Mrs. McFarland was born on July 6, 1947 the daughter of the late James and Ruth (Harmon) Bright in Harlan County, Ky.
Mrs. McFarland attended the Corner Stone Christian Union Church.
Survivors include her husband Stanley McFarland of West Union; two sons, Lee Bender and wife Shawna of Eastgate and Chris Bender and Angie Edmondson of Amelia; one step-daughter, Sandy Payne and husband Tony of Winchester; five grandchildren, Logan Brewer, Tom Payne, Wesley Payne, Garrett Payne, and Jared Payne.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home, with Cliff Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. the day of the service at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home.
