William J Smalley, age 71 of Peebles, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center.
He was born in Adams County on Aug. 21, 1944, the son of the late William and America (Burgett) Smalley.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Smalley and sister, Mary Catherine Taylor.
He was a member of the N.R.A and the Ohio Gun Collectors Association.
He is survived by his wife Carol (Johnson) Smalley of Peebles; two sons, William and Rhonda Smalley Jr. of Peebles, Brian and Carmen Smalley of Enterprise, Ala.; brother, Larry Smalley of Seaman; three sisters, Joann Johnson of Peebles, Sandy Moore of Peebles, Grace Ann Davis of Peebles; three grandchildren, Brooklyn, Charlotte, Caroline and five step-grandchildren.
Visitation has been scheduled for Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. also at the funeral home with Dave Hopkins officiating.
