Hunter Harris of West Union recently attended the 2015 World Beef Expo which was held from Sept. 25-27 at the Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, Wisc. This is one of the Midwest’s largest cattle expositions with 422 cattle exhibitors from 18 states participating this year.
Hunter participated in the Junior Show Prospect Steer Class with his steer, Hunter’s Buddy, and received Fifth Place in his class. He also participated in the Junior Show Percentage Simmental Heifer Class with his heifer, She Knows No Worries, and received Fifth Place in his class.
The World Beef Expo also offers various youth sweepstakes contests. Hunter participated in the 11 year old Showmanship Division and the 11-14 year old Skillathon Division and received Third Place in both of these divisions as well.
Hunter is the son of Steven and Crystal Harris of West Union.
