ACOVSD Board meets Sept. 10

The Adams County Ohio Valley School District Board of Education will hold a regular board meeting on Thursday, Sept. 10 at the Career and Technical Center beginning at 7 p.m.

ACBDD Board meets Sept. 10

The regular meeting of the Adams County Board of Developmental Disabilities is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 10 at 6:30 p.m. at Venture Productions, Inc.

Seaman gospel meeting Sept. 12

The Seaman Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship Int’l meeting will be held on Saturday, September 12, at 7 p.m in the Seaman Community Center. A catered dinner is served at 7 p.m followed by the meeting at 7:45 p.m. Cost of the meal is $8, children 12 and under eat free. Men, women and children are invited to attend. The guest speaker will be Pastor Brian Adams from Jackson, Ohio.

Adams County Trustees meeting Sept. 14

The Adams County Trustee meeting will be held on Sept. 14 at the Adams County Annex.

Panhandlers Homemakers plan reunion

The Panhandler Homemakers will hold their 35th year Reunion on Thursday Sept. 17 from 5 -7 p.m. at the West Union Christian Union Church Fellowship Hall. All previous and current members of the Panhandler Homemakers are invited. Bring a friend, invite a guest. The church is located at 542 E. Main Street in West Union. Food Bank giveaway in Peebles

The Peebles Foodbank will hold a food give away at 8:30 a.m on Sept. 19 at the Church of Christ Outreach Center on Nixon Avenue. This is for Peebles residents only. USDA guidelines apply. ID is required.

WUHS Class of 1969 reunion is Sept. 19

The West Union High School Class of 1969 will be holding its reunion on Sept. 19 at the Adams County Lake Shelter, beginning at noon. Class members can bring whatever they want but State Park rules apply.

Reformers Unanimous to meet

Celebrate recovery

A Christ-centered recovery program for people who struggle with addictions or any life-controlling issue will meet on Mondays from 6 -8:30 p.m. at Church 180 located at 2556 Moores Road, in Seaman.
