The Adams County Health and Wellness Coalition, and Interact for Health, an organization that serves over 20 counties in the Greater Cincinnati area to help promote healthy lifestyles among its residents and surrounding communities, is proud to announce the completion of the Peebles Safe Routes to School Path and Fitness Trail. The existing walk/bike path has been complimented with the addition of five new pieces of outdoor fitness equipment along the path, which can be used to enhance your daily workout routine. The Fit Trail provides opportunities for Adams County residents to increase physical fitness and improve their overall health, and is open to the public.

The Adams County Health and Wellness Coalition was formed in 2010, to help combat staggering obesity and diabetes rates within the County. Its mission is to improve the health and well-being of the children and families of Adams County by assisting the community in creating a culture of wellness through increased physical activities and improved nutrition. The Coalition is continually looking for grant opportunities to assist all communities in the county to improve overall wellness.
