On Tuesday, July 7, the Friends of the North Adams Library will hold a public reception from 5-7 p.m. at the North Adams Library, in recognition of library Team Leader Kris Lanham.
Kris has worked at the North Adams Library since 2001, when the library was housed in the Seaman Community Building, and was closely involved in organizing and opening the new North Adams Library building in 2013. Many patrons and staff know Kris as the face of the North Adams Library, as she helps patrons at the desk, and leads weekly children’s Story Times and annual Summer Reading events.
This summer will be Kris’s last Summer Reading Program at the North Adams Library, as she is moving back to her home area. Stop by on Tuesday, July 7 from 5- 7 p.m. to share your greetings and best wishes with Kris.
