Head coach Kyle Brewer and his Manchester High School coaching staff will be conducting a four-day fundamental camp for youth baseball players in the area from June 2-5 at the Manchester High School baseball field. The camp will be for youth baseball players who will be entering grades 1-6 in the 2014-15 school year.
Camp will focus on developing the fundamental skills of catching, throwing, base running, sliding, and hitting through various drills and games each day. Youth players will be able to interact with the coaching staff as well as high school players that will be assisting throughout the camp.
The four-day camp costs $30 and registration forms can be picked up in the Manchester Elementary School office or by contacting Coach Brewer at 937-515-1614. The deadline for registration is May 30 and campers who sign up before the deadline will be guaranteed a camp t-shirt. All campers should bring a glove and bat and in the event of rain, report to the elementary gymnasium during their session time.
The camp will be divided into two daily sessions: grades 1-3 from 10 a.m.-noon and grades 4-5 from 1 p.m.-3 p.m.
