The University of Findlay women’s basketball defeated Lake Erie College by a score of 85-68 on Saturday, Feb. 15 in Painesville. The win gives the Oilers an 11-12 record on the season with an 8-11 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).
Senior guard Karli Beasley led the way as she poured in a career-high 22 points on 7-of-10 shooting.
Beasley made a career-high four three pointers in the game and also stuffed the stat sheet with four assists, four steals, three rebounds and a block in 30 minutes of playing time.
Beasley, a senior guard, has started 22 games this season for the Oilers, averaging 24.5 minutes per game.She averages 7.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game.
Beasley is a 2010 graduate of North Adams High School and is the daughter of Dan and Anita Beasley.
